“This is a really good option if you want to be close to downtown. Lots of good restaurants, bars, museums, ect. to see in a walkable distance. Just make sure to bring earplugs because this property is directly under the flight path for planes landing at the airport, they pass over only a couple hundred feet overhead continuously all day but slack off at night. Overall I enjoyed it. ”

“Great location on the bay with balcony to enjoy sunrise. Only 2 blocks from the pacific boardwalk. Comfortable accommodations for sleeping.( A few small details could have improved the experience. Kitchen disposal jammed, shower leaked on floor a bit, bathroom sink fills up and doesn’t drain properly, toilet paper roll slides off holder onto floor.) As parking is not included it is suggested to street park on Mission Blvd. The paid public parking lot is exorbitantly expensive- However! We found……

“Really enjoyed my stay here - very well-kept, just enough space for me and a guest, and had everything we needed. Thomas made it easy. Great area and plenty of parking too. You could occasionally hear noise from people walking or clearing their throat on the floor above, but it was never too loud or distracting. I highly recommend this cozy La Jolla getaway!”

“Host gave great instructions and place was as described. The uniti s the upstairs of the owner's property but it wasn't a problem.The location is ideal and easy walking distance to the beach and shops and restaurants. Lovely outdoor space. Comfy bed and sofa bed but awkward setup for kitchenette and bathroom is tight. Overall a good stay for the price and location.”

“Perfect size room and location for our 3 night stay. Close to a variety of coffee shops and restaurants. Was a little nervous about the pull out couch, but it and the pillows were very comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood to walk around. Hosts were very responsiveness. The trees have grown, so no ocean view from the balconey, but very nice none the less.”
