“Very comfortable property and perfect for a weekend getaway. The cottage was a good size for the 2 of us, but can easily accommodate a family of four.”

“The cottage is immaculate with everything you could want and Mandy is the most delightful host. I wish I could have stayed longer and got to know the area but, alas, I couldn't. Very highly recommended.”

“Smoke alarm battery was dead. The room did get warm easily and I had to use the air conditioner a fair bit. The wi fi was very bad. Overall it was quiet and comfortable.”

“Such a clean comfortable property. The property manager was amazing to deal with when there was a small sewer issue which was fixed promptly. Comfy beds and every year the owners just do the right little tweaks to maintain the property. ”

“Really great place with plenty of rooms for a large group. The small carpet near the fire place was dirty and full of dog hair. There was not enough toilet paper considering the size of the house/ large group stay. kitchen paper towels, bath mats, body wash/shampoo was not provided neither we were told to bring our own. Overall very good place to stay, but some above points need to be considered. ”

“Great place to visit. We definitely could have stayed a few more days. Plenty of dog friendly activities. It would be a great place to stay at other times of the year as well We very much enjoyed Maggie’s baked treats and the Strawbale cottage holiday vibe. A bit warm because of a couple of very hot days so another fan or aircon would be great.”

“What a spot! The house is set in beautiful gsrdens right on the stunning howqua river, amazing views, beaut base to visit jamison or murchison or explore up into the high country. Andy is an A1 host.”

“A beautiful place with welcoming, caring hosts. Truely amazing. Maggie greeted me on arrival, with supplies for great breakfast in the fridge and delicious home made bread. Sunday morning I was delighted with a freshly baked muffin. The cottage was spotless and very peaceful looking on to a beautifully kept parklike garden. I will come again.”

“This is definitely budget accommodation, the unit was not flash and the upkeep to our unit poor, washing machine didn't spin out (leaving clothes very wet) and the door jammed making it difficult to exit (lucky we didn't have to exit in a hurry. However, if these things don't both you then the location is amazing, and there is a good variety of facilities. The staff were very helpful with extending our booking a further night when we had to change plans late at night. My conclusion is the staff……
