“The house had lots of room, But the fence gate was a pain to open every time we left and came back. Hurt my hand and leg on the gate. The house was close to most things we wanted to do. I would stay there again if they fixed the gate.”

“If you want a historical house this is the one. Some updates have been done but not much. The house has a very old historical feeling. House needs a lot of basic touch up needs, but the overall stay was ok. I think some of the pics were deceiving as it made it look very nice but paint was peeling and cob webs on some ceilings. I think for the cleaning fee that is charged it could have been a lot cleaner.”

“House was great for several out of town family members to attend my son's officer commissioning at Maxwell AFB. Location is great to downtown and easy access to Maxwell. Old historical, huge house with tons of space.Kitchen has multiple type coffee makers, gas stove, newer appliances, plenty of plates, glasses, cups, and utensils. Hung out every night and mornings on the front porch. Communication, check-in, and arrival details with owner was great.BBQ needs to be replaced or taken off of the……

“This house was actually bigger than what we expected! We really enjoyed all the original historic character with some modern updates sprinkled around. The wall decor and board games were great. Every room had great blinds or curtains. The massage recliner was incredible! Plenty of smart tv’s to keep everyone entertained. The AC worked great , which we really appreciated experiencing AL in June! We would stay here again. ”

“My husband and I loved this property! The home is beautiful and peaceful. I loved sitting on the back porch and watching the boats go by on the lake. It was very quiet and private. It was a top of the line experience. I would highly recommend it! I can’t wait to book my next vacation here again!”
