Sheets were used when we removed the covers. I reached out to the main office and they offered us a room at their sister hotel. When I arrived there I felt like they did not believe my accusations about the dirty room at Mid-Town. Kept telling me I was “getting a good deal” by giving me the two nights in the better hotel. No one from Mid-Town contacted me to apologize or talk at all. I was incredibly disappointed all around.

Nice 1950's theme outside with flowers and parking. 2 block walk into town. Check-in host was very nice. Nice king size bed. Unfortunately the carpet was quite dirty and the room had an old smell like it had not had a thorough cleaning in a very long time. I would only stay again for the ability to walk into town.

Wow I have no idea where people were giving this place such high reviews. The room was musty smelling and very very dated. The carpet under the bed was.... Well not new. The bathroom was so cramped when you say on the toilet your knees were against the wall. (I'm only 5'8") the shower was a 30x30 closet and moldy. There was mildew all over the bathroom trim and door trim. When we took a shower water leaked out from somewhere into the room. The next morning we woke up there was water in our room from the next door room. I mean jeeze, this place was a mess. The sheets did seem clean thankfully bed the bed was VERY hard. I wanted to talk to someone at the hotel but there wasn't anyone on site. You just left your keys to checkout. I sent some messages no one ever got back to me. The only good thing about this place is the location. Skip it.

The owners continue the decades-old tradition of offering a quaint, comfortable motel with a 1950's feel, at very reasonable prices. The staff is always very friendly, accommodating, helpful in many ways. The location is superb, set within a minute or two walk from the center of Boothbay Harbor. Mid-Town Motel has become a cherished place for visitors who have been returning for years.

Clean, very friendly staff and great location. The bathroom was small but clean. Walkable to town for restaurants and our boat tour. Never had to worry about parking.

Room is cute and location is convenient. Room service was nonexistent, we asked for new towels, the girl smiles and nods to me. We go out for the day and come back, she emptied the trash, that was it. The shower pressure was horrendous!! The beds are comfortable.

The motel was very walkable to everything. Bed was comfy and check-in/out was super easy. Room was clean but dated and did have a musty smell. Bathroom was tiny & shower had no pressure.

Checked out within an hour due to the overwhelming chemical smell. (My daughter and I are both asthmatic) Couldn't even open windows to try to air it out as they were painted shut. Shower was brown and worn from years of use, should be updated. Checked the bed (as I do with all hotels) and it had 3 fitted sheets and a protective cover. The protective cover was dirty! Women at the front desk didn’t seem surprised, would not give a refund. I should of gotten the trip protection...lesson learned. :(

Wonderful and cozy.

We loved the simplicity of the motel, the location, and the access to the office refridgerator and ice machine. Staff was wonderful. We'd definitely stay there again.

Excellent location to all there is to do in Boothbay Harbor. Easy check-in. Easy parking. 1950’s hotel feel with everything you would expect from a hotel today. This being said, the bathroom is very small. A larger person may find it challenging.

Cute, classic 50s hotel. Very clean very friendly service. We particularly loved having detailed written information regarding restaurants events everything you could possibly want to know about the area. We would definitely stay here again.

A quaint 50's demure setting. The rooms were SO clean and had been updated, but still had the 50's warmth. Housekeeper gave us excellent advice for dining and things to do. Thank you!!
