The breakfast, as said by other reviewers, is excellent with different stations for hot/cooked and continental and cereals and fruit, croissants and pain au chocolat, cakes and bread and waffles and pancakes. Great value to set you up for the day and open early until 10 for the more leisurely and rested clientele.
Hotel ad restaurant reception staff were friendly, polite and helpful though we did receive some helpful and some less helpful advice regarding sightseeing and were overcharged on arrival, but this was soon rectified.
The location was quiet with easy transport links and a short 10 minute walk to the station for trains, more buses and trams, and the airport shuttle coach. Some bar/cafe/restaurants close to the hotel and a carrefour mini supermarket.
Our room had a lovely big window with view into the city and some of the Garonne river. Room was a nice size for a twin, with tea and coffe making facilities, iron and board, tv and airconditioning though we struggled to get the room less than 19 degrees. Bathroom had a lovely big powerful shower and a handheld showerhead as well. We didn’t make time to use the gym facilities.
Cleaning staff were polite, patient courteous and thorough. Hotel makes some efforts to encourage clientele to consider the environment and reuse towels where not too dirty. There was just one stain on one duvet, which had obviously been washed and clean but on pure white was a bit unsightly (pen?)
It was a very enjoyable, comfortable stay.
