“We drove here bummed because we haven’t seen the northern lights yet. Late at night we heard rumbling outside and the lights were bright and right at in front of our place. Loved this place and its cleanness. My friends and I said we would stay here again. ”

“Wir waren aufgrund der doch vielen schlechten Bewertungen erst etwas skeptisch, wurden aber vom Gegenteil überrascht. Das Zimmer war sauber, hatte eine kleine moderne Küche, ein großes Bad und auch der Rest war gut eingerichtet. Die Gegend selbst ist sehr ruhig und etwas einsam. Man kann aber wunderbar die Küste und das ursprüngliche Island erkunden , ohne Massentourismus.”

“Overall had a great stay. The beds were comfortable and the campground was easy to find. Only half the hotplate worked, but we were able to manage just fine. Tge scebery was wonderful and it was very quiet”

“El lugar donde se encuentran las cabañas es de ensueño. Justo al frente el paso de el rio Vididalsá y atrás un pedazo de cordillera imperante. Río arriba como de 5-7 minutos está el cañón Kolugljúfur. Las cabañas son bien acogedoras y el staff super atento y amable. Recomendado y pico!”
