“Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche im Haus von Gianfranco verbracht. Das Haus liegt ungefähr zehn Minuten vom kleinen Ort Poppi entfernt und bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die umliegende Hügellandschaft. Es handelt sich um einen alten Gutshof, der rustikal eingerichtet ist. Es fehlte an nichts. Es ist perfekt für einen Urlaub mit Freunden. “This is an absolutely private place in the Tuscany’s hills. You can relax all day, but if you want the hustle and bustle of the city, Arezzo is the nearest big city (Siena 1.5 hours by car). There are several restaurants to choose nerby. A major shopping centre is 20-30 minutes away. The house is typical Tuscan style and well equipped, energy consumption needs attention but we had no problem. “Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. “What a beautiful place! Communication with Sheri prior to arriving was excellent and we were met in the local town to be escorted to the property. The house is of the highest quality, spotlessly clean with facilities of an excellent standard. A perfect mix of traditional construction with modern fixtures and fittings. The fresh fruit, vegetables, wine and extra provisions that were provided were very much appreciated. Such a tranquil setting to relax in amongst the vineyards. We were lucky……

“We had a really good time at this property. Everything was very clean and it was well equipped for what we wanted. It was very hot whilst we were there, so the air con and pool were very much appreciated! The town itself has several decent restaurants (so no need to cook, if you dont want to!) and there are some local buses but a car is needed really to make the most of the wider surrounding area (including the beautiful pool).The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful with any queries……

“This home goes so far beyond a charming and luxury guest house. Everything was perfect, from first booking through departure. Stefano is an artist at welcoming and caring for his guests, even feeding us fresh made biscotti and fresh sliced prosciutto and bread sticks beyond compare. So much thoughtful detail in every corner-from music to books to wonderful towels, magnificently scented soap, to coffee to fridge to stove. The rain shower is amazing, as is the garden.
