From the moment of my delayed arrival at 1:00 a.m., the series of unfortunate events commenced. Despite my exhaustion, I was met with a room reeking of cigarette smoke, an utterly unacceptable condition for any reputable chain. Hoping for remediation, I requested a room change, only to be ushered into another chamber of horrors. This second lodging bore the distressing surprise of a ceiling leak, which unbeknownst to me at the time, transformed my personal belongings into a soggy mess whilst I was attempting to rest.
Upon awakening to this disaster, I promptly sought a resolution from the authorities in charge. Herein lies the most egregious facet of my ordeal—Mr. Mike, the manager on duty, whose demeanor was the epitome of discourtesy and sheer indifference. His brusque dismissal of my plea for a refund was not only disheartening but profoundly disrespectful.
