I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with the staff at this hotel.
I booked my stay through Expedia, but upon checkout, I noticed I had been double charged for the room. When I raised this concern with the front desk, I was told the additional charge was for taxes. I explained multiple times that the charge was not a tax but a duplicate payment. Despite my clear explanation, the staff dismissed my concern and insisted that Expedia had not paid them, advising me to take the issue up with Expedia myself.
When I asked for assistance with the hotel WiFi so I could contact Expedia, I was told it wasn’t their problem and that I needed to resolve it on my own. The staff made no effort to help or even recheck the charge.
Eventually, Expedia confirmed that they had paid the hotel. However, because the hotel staff refused to verify anything or take responsibility, I ended up wasting over an hour sitting in the lobby trying to resolve an issue that could have been easily avoided. Not once did anyone at the hotel apologize or acknowledge their mistake. Instead, I was treated with impatience and suspicion, as though I were being unreasonable or dishonest.
This experience left a lasting negative impression. I expected far better professionalism and basic courtesy from the hotel staff.
