The room was too small! From the bed, I could not put my feet on the floor. I had to scooch to the end of the bed to get up. The bathroom was not clean: toothpaste on the wall in the shower and hair ( not mine) on the counter. The lobby has lovely amenities, but the music was so loud in the evening that it was not relaxing. The smoke detector was placed directly above my head, and the flashing, very bright white light went off every eight seconds. I could see it even when my eyes were closed. There was a large, lovely window, looking out onto the neighborhood. However, there was only a blackout shade, no sheer shades to allow for privacy. So we had to keep the blackout shade down during the day if we didn’t want people to look in. When I remarked to the front staff that our room was too small for four people, I was told this is “Moxy-sized” and actually one of the bigger rooms they have in the hotel. The location was great right on the hill, however I won’t stay here again. They only had valet parking available.
