You Will Love Staying at Our Hidden Away, Hand Built Log Cabin Located in the Woods, Next to the Water for a Beautiful View, With Complete Privacy. Walk Out On the Back Deck and Enjoy the Hummingbirds Feeding. Watch for the Deer and Raccoons Or Listen to the Many Calls of the Birds. This Beautiful Lakefront Log Cabin is Secluded for a Quiet Retreat, Completely Furnished With Antiques and Full Size Kitchen Appliances. We Supply Your Coffee, Cream, Sugar, Salt/pepper, Cook Ware, Dishes, Linens and Bedding. Our Cabin has a Stone Fire Place (operational Seasonally-gas Fire Logs) for a More Rustic and Romantic Stay in the Winter Months, Large Decks, Porch Swings and Gazebo for Outdoor Fun in the Spring, Summer, and Fall Months. We have Cable TV, FREE WiFi-NO Password, a DVD Player, and Central Heat & A/C, if You're Not Trying to Get Away from Everything! This beautiful Cabin has two bedrooms located upstairs with a full size bed in one, and a queen size bed in the other bedroom. With both bedrooms located upstairs, this allows for a larger living/great room area. This Cabin is Ideally Designed for Adults Seeking a Unique, Quiet Hideaway. We Are Only One Minute from the Barren River State Park With Marina, Golf Course, Horseback Riding, Nature Trails, and More; 35 Minutes from the Mammoth Cave Area With Cave Tours, Zip Line Fun, Alpine Slides, Go-cart Action, Dinosaur World, Ky Down Under, and More; 30 Minutes from Beech Bend Amusement Park, Splash Lagoon, Drag Strip, Or Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. Cabin review

Everything was great. Exactly what I was looking for. To get away from the city and relax. I wanted to use the grill and cook some burgers. All I had to do was go up to Zack’s Food Mart down the street and got everything I needed. The DVD player was there but didn’t have any cords to hook up the tv. I think my seven year old left a DVD in the player when he found out it wasn’t working. The check out instructions did say to check the player and they were not responsible if anything was left behind. That was our fault so I’m upset. The tv was a Roku tv and had satellite, so plenty of options for the kids. I was a little disappointed the Barren River Lake behind the cabin was so low. I did ask around and found out it fills up throughout Spring and tops off at about memorial day. Other than that we had a fantastic time and will be going back.

Cute stay

The location of this cabin was beautiful! The cabin itself however is a little out dated. Tacky signs hang all over with messages for guests to wash dishes/not touch the thermostat/ check out process etc. The scrub brush for the dishes looked like it hadnt been changed in several stays. The beds we uncomfortable. One squeaked with any little movement. The other felt like the middle was caving inward. If you can get past those quirks and some of the outdated it decor, it was nice for a short stay and again the location is breath taking.

Amazing cabin, secluded with lake view!

Would recommend this cabin again and again! Back deck was my favorite hangout with the gazebo and beautiful lake view. I loved that the cabin was secluded so very relaxing getaway from everything and everyone. Very short drive to restaurants and other stores. Less than a mile to Barren River Lake State Park.

FEELS LIKE CAMP

was such a nice quaint cabin - my friends and I had a great stay and spent time on the sizable deck space and walking around the the water (the lake was mostly dried up - maybe for the season?). Cabin was also located in a small neighborhood which wasn’t as secluded as I had hoped but it was still in the country side of KY and we had such a nice time it felt like a weekend camp.

Humble stay

We arrived for our weekend and the power was out due to bad weather. We stayed hoping the power would return and never did. We were able to stay off grid and enjoy each others company with complete humbleness. The owners were very kind and generous to our stay. Highly recommend their hospitality.

No lake at the lake house

House was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed visiting Paradise Point and Kenny's Farmhouse Cheese. One of the reasons we chose the property is because of the photos of the lake. Unfortunately, the lake is only there a few months of the year.

My wife and I enjoyed our two day stay very much. I thought the cabin was almost perfect. The only downside is that there is quite a bit of traffic noise from a bridge that is quite a ways away but the sound carries.

My boyfriend and our children enjoyed the peaceful, beautiful views of this cabin! The management was easy to reach out to. The cabin itself was lovely and clean. The view from the deck was spectacular. We will return!

Lovely Getaway

We had such a lovely time, we extended an extra night! Very cozy, tree-covered property, with a cliff view of the lake. Located on a populated street, but secluded by a long driveway and canopy of trees. It's a short drive to the marina where we rented a boat on Saturday, and an even shorter trip to a nice hike on Sunday. Perfect meet-in-the-middle for Nashville and Lexington.
