“This is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine……

“We had a pleasant stay for one night at Caistor Hall. Staff were very friendly, Grounds were lovely and dinner was decent. Breakfast was tasty and good choice for a vegetarian. Room had creaky floorboards and a little too warm and bathroom was very small, shower started to drip water at 3am for about a minute which woke me up and I had trouble getting back to sleep but overall it was a very nice stay and I would return. ”

“Fantastic staff mostly shout out to poppy who was amazing ! Breakfast and pizzas amazing , views from pub garden lovely , Lady at breakfast very grumpy and told to leave the room early S she needed to clean it although we had an prior arrangement to book out late , she made us leave very rude ”

Super dog friendly with pooch snacks and free doggy breakfast to accompany the excellent human ones. Paw balm in the room was a wonderful touch. Thank you team White Hart. ”

“The room, facilities were fantastic. The little touches, Norfolk Natural Living….. bubble bath, shower gel and shampoo with conditioner, added to the quality of our stay! Bread source breakfast was delicious! Home made bread source biscuits with their amazing coffee in the room was lovely to have on arrival and again first thing in the morning. Highly recommend, everything was as advertised. ”

“The bedroom was small but clean & comfortable. The outside space could have been swept as it was very warm & great to sit outside for a pre-dinner drink. Breakfast choice was good although the orders both mornings didn’t quite get right. Great location for the train station only 10 mins taxi ride. ”
