“Such a cute little house that is quaintly decorated with a gorgeous view from the big screened in porch. It comes with everything you need. Near Twillingate which has so much to offer. Lots of very cool hikes! ”

“Great spot. Only issue is the bed is not very comfortable & pillows are not great. The washroom is upstairs with bedroom/ sitting area which was fine for us but if any mobility issues it’s likely not suitable. ”

“It was a great spot, would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy the great view, but Mother Nature didn’t let that happen. Rain and windy. One thing I suggest is when you send the code to your renters you include the physical street address, other than just Durrel. ”

“A beautiful view in a lovely quiet cove. Very peaceful. The property had most amenities we needed for our family. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, well equipped kitchen & nice deck & bbq. Also nice fenced yard for our dog. What was also noticed were some maintenance issues. The clothes dryer in kitchen area was extremely noisy & not usable. Some of the windows needed work, we could open but they would not close properly & had broken mechanisms. There was no propane firepit as advertised. A……

We stayed 3 nights, the house was 14 minutes drive from the town and with the same distance drive from great trails.... but even the walks on the quiet road along the shore were lovely.”

I loved sitting on the veranda and watching the boats go by and the ocean waves crashing against the shore line. the scenery is beautiful ! the house - immaculate, serene and inviting a nice surprise ... fresh baked bread waited for us !!!! also .. there was coffee, tea and other thoughtful items. highly recommend Skipper Tom's ”
