The overall property and amenities were above average. The pool and BBQ area were very nice, and both the fitness center and clubhouse were pleasant and well-kept. The landscaping was well maintained, and the residents we encountered were friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, the experience was significantly impacted by poor communication from our host and their management company. After a long cross-country flight, we arrived to find that our gate code didn’t work. Our driver had to wait until another resident arrived to let us in, which was both frustrating and stressful.
The instructions for locating our unit were also inaccurate. We were told to make a left at the clubhouse, but the unit was actually to the right. Building numbers and unit markers were hard to see from the street or a rideshare vehicle, so my daughter and I wandered the complex for 15 minutes trying to find the right location.
When we finally got to the unit, the instructions stated there would be a key fob in a lockbox on the door to access the vehicle gate and amenities. However, the code provided for the lockbox didn’t work either. This added more frustration, as I had to walk to the front gate every time we ordered food or used a rideshare service. We were also unable to easily access the pool and fitness center.
Several light bulbs were missing, toilet was wobbly, remote-control battery covers missing and the beds were very low with thin, uncomfortable mattresses.
