“We had a sisters weekend at the lodge. The lodge was very pretty and fantastic view. The cabin its self could do with a deep clean (we had to get the duster out to remove some cobwebs before we went to bed) and the glasses needed a wash, but thats not too bad. Maybe a heads up on the road surface to the cabin would be an idea as my car is quite low and I grounded out with a scrape a couple times. But relaxing in the hot tub looking at that view was fantastic after a day sightseeing. ”

“Great property and peaceful location. Beautiful view and easy parking. The bed was very comfortable and I had a brilliant nights sleep every night. The BBQ is a good size and easy to clean. The owner was very prompt in answering any questions I had and check-in was very easy. However a couple of points would improve the experience. The shower is very small for the average person which is disappointing when you're using it regularly before either going into the hot tub or when using the sauna.……

“My family of four adults plus one friend had a great stay at Camusmore House for a week in March. The house was terrific, layout was great for our needs, and there were plenty of everything to self-cater for a week. We had some issues with the heater the first couple of days and nights, but the hosts were extremely active in communicating with us to try simple solutions, and in the end they brought in a professional repair technician who promptly fixed an issue in the boiler. “Great location just South of Ballater on Glenmuick estate. Enjoyed being wakened by the wildlife rather than planes. Not sure if the cottage is haunted but was wakened at 3am on the first night by creaking stairs. Anyway didn’t detract from our stay. Cottage is in need of upgrading e.g. ancient shower and paintwork in need of attention. That may concern some people but did not detract at all from our stay. Overall would recommend a stay here for a few nights if you like activities in spectacular……
