“The location was perfect and the scenery was beautiful. The cabin was cozy and warm which was great for reading and quality family time. We really wanted to enjoy the hot tub amenities, but unfortunately it had to many chemicals in it, because when we put the jets on we could not breath. So we had to leave the jets off when we where in the hot tub. Beds where hard and comforters old fashion. Pizza at Commanders did not deliver and there was no transit to our location. “Very poor stay. Hot tub that was on the deck was unusable as it and the deck were buried in snow. The bathroom shower had a spider problem. Fireplace smelled terribly of gas when we tried to use it. Only one TV worked for just a couple of channels. Guest bedroom had bunkbeds but the squeeked so badly the kids slept in our rooms. Overall smell of mildew... Other than that, refrigerator and microwave worked.”

“Overall very nice place. Clean, plenty of towels, comfortable seating area.Listing was off, saying one room had 4 beds and another had 2, but actually had 3 in one and 1 in the other. There were also big black ants, mostly on the floor in the living room. There was no info at the house about what to do when leaving with garbages, towels or stripping the beds. So we just guessed. I would stay here again, nice place.”

“Overall, we had a very nice stay here. Great big house on a nice lake, great view, very close to Brainerd. There is a Cub Foods about 5 minutes away in case you need anything. The living room especially was wonderful - big couches, big TV, good wifi, lots of space (which was helpful since we got rained out). There was also a dining room with a nice big table for playing games and eating together. We kind of liked the 70's vibe, too.With access this close to Brainerd (and only 2 hours out of……
