“The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. ”

It’s a peaceful and quiet place, with lovely people who make you feel truly welcome. One of the highlights was having access to see the horses, which was such a treat, especially for the kids. There’s also plenty of open playing field space to enjoy. Communication was excellent from start to finish, making our stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!”
