“The property was as the owners described - a farmhouse in a beautiful country setting; huge yard and quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and made up, and there were plenty of extra towels in the hall closet. AC worked in the oppressive heat during our stay. Owners were quick to answer any questions while there; even to the point of stopping by to help out with tv issues. The owners are aware that not everyone appreciates the "sandlapper" "low country" water and had a case of bottled water……

“This pains me to write because this could’ve been a great little stopping point, however the bathtub was actually filthy. It smelled like urine and there is a dark grey film that needs to be scrubbed off. I get that old tubs can have stains but these are not stains and could’ve been removed with cleaner and elbow grease. I had camped for a week and just wanted to take a nice hot bath; I did not get to take one. Also I would add a sign for the cottage because it was confusing as to which door it……

“The property and stay was way better than we were expecting. Wonderful place to go relax, unwind, and disconnect. Excellent river views where you can just sit outside a listen to nature and the river flow. Owner was very responsive to messages. Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area again.”
