“Firstly the house was amazing. Very clear a lot of thought went into the construction, finishes, and décor. The kitchen was well-appointed (above average) even with a few spices, seasonings, and condiments. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Besides the beautiful house the river behind it and the view was fantastic. Immediately relaxing and picturesque. It snowed while we were staying and you could make a postcard from the view. “We spent the weekend snowshoeing and cross country skiing at Fern Park. The park is a short drive from the motel. Great restaurants were within walking distance from the motel. The owners were very friendly, offered a great breakfast and kept the parking lot and sidewalks clear of snow during a snowstorm. ”

“My stay at Hill Top Lodge was wonderful! Chris is a fabulous host (along with Bare and Nikko, the two king shepherds). The bacon really is as good as the other reviews say! Photos of the property really don’t do it justice (it may be a bit steep for some to access the creek by foot though). The kitchen was well stocked with basic spices, oils, pots, and pans for cooking dinners. I would absolutely stay here again!”

The property went above and beyond my expectations, the beds were extremely comfortable (There were many) And the side porch overlooking the town of Osceola. We also appreciate the ability to either walk or ATV down to the river on the property. The kids really enjoyed themselves and the river! Will be staying here again.”
