“Beaune is a charming small village/town. Maison 1896 was amazing! They took care of unloading your luggage & parking your car for you. Charming bar/lounge area for an afternoon drink or pre dinner. Their restaurant 'The Slanted Door' had an excellent Asian menu and the food was so outstanding we ordered seconds of two of their main dishes. Rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable and bathrooms sparkled. We had a room with a little balcony that overlooked some of the shops and a church……

“The staff was very helpful. They recommended a great restaurant and tried to book an activity for us ( time did not allow however). It was in a convenient location and very safe and accommodating! ”

“The room provided to us came with an air conditioner failed to supply cool air by that day Beaune temperature was around 26-28 degree C. The lady in-charged front desk said hotel air conditioner will only supply cool air the next Monday, but we will check-out on Sunday after two nights stay. I questioned her how a hotel had such facilities failure without backup plan. She said sorry to me but the hotel had nothing to do to the guest like me even no electric fan provided. She then even counter……
