Overall appeared cleanish but the carpet in the room old and dirty. When I showered, the water was black,under my feet. There was a power outrage and elevator was out for 24+ hours during our stay. Things happen but in reading reviews ,it was out in February, as well.

The property was clean, staff was great. Especially considering my key/door was acting funny so I was moved to another room which (probably a coincidence) was slightly bigger and had a bigger TV. Wifi is fast enough for phones and websites and TV streaming on my Fire Stick. Not necessary I just think cable is boring. A/C worked great, beds were clean I didn't even have to use my extra sheets or blanket. Bathroom was clean, didn't see any mold. Only complaints i have are the shower liner had a couple stains and the couch was slightly dirty but I didn't actually sit on it anyways. Definitely worth the price and came in clutch for the weekend stay. Close to a truck stop and plenty of restaurants just down the street. Also right next to I-10. Elevator unfortunately didn't work but I don't have any problem going up and down stairs. No funny smells or shady people standing around outside. Definitely a 4 star stay. Would come again.

As reflected in the photos, the room hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. There was a smudge on the wall by the toilet paper dispenser that one didn’t have to use their imagination as to what it could have been, given the location. One of the pillow cases, although probably clean, was stained as though from sweaty heads. Even if “clean” should be disposed of.

decent place to stay

The receptionist was very helpful with a couple of requests we had. Room was spacious, beds comfortable, but pillows were lumpy. Plenty of green space to walk our dog.

When we checked in, the receptionist was very cordial and helpful. The rooms were very clean. I really like the window seat in the room. Nice extra touch.

AVOID THIS PLACE

DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL. I stayed at the Motel 6 in on Dec.28th. I arrived at 5pm to find the lobby empty. I walked around and shouted hello for 5 minutes before desk clerk showed up. I proceeded to my room and tried to take a shower. The water not matter how long I let it run was room temperature at best. I finally gave up and engaged the shower and what came was a trickle. I called the lobby and they tried to move me to THREE different rooms all with the same problems and worse ones. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there wouldn’t be one in till Monday. At this point. I was going to leave but there was a severe weather warning with bad thunderstorms everywhere, so I shelter in place. On Monday I emailed the manager for a refund and got no response. I contacted Motel 6 guest services and got the standard response, and was told someone one would contact me in 5 days. No one did. I contacted them for a second time, again a generic response promising a follow up, never happened. I did notice a partial refund on my CC, but not explanation. I contacted customer service for a third time and was told to contact the hotel directly, well I all ready tried that and got no response. Motel 6’s customer service it to respond with generic emails and hope you go away.
