What a gorgeous property, and SO convenient to everything. We were a party of 11 adults and these 2 houses were magical. We rented both the main house and the cottage and there was plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and there are powder rooms EVERYWHERE! The kitchen/dining/living area is warm and welcoming, and the kitchen is well stocked with all of the utensils, dishes, & cookware you could desire. Beds are clean and comfortable and if you are lucky enough to to snag the main bedroom in the main house, then enjoy the steam room feature in the shower! All the bedrooms are surprisingly large and had humidifiers in them (a HUGE plus for me!) and the basement media room was a big hit for in-home entertainment. The house was well stocked with cleaning products, towels, some toiletries, and the hot tub was amazing after a day on the slopes. The media room also has pull out queen sofa-sleepers (which we did not need to use) but keep in mind if you need someone to sleep there, they will not get a full en-suite bath BUT there is a powder room adjacent to the media room that is not attached to a bedroom - so some privacy for anyone that sleeps there. The only thing that could be a challenge is parking, so plan your vehicles accordingly. We walked most of the time as we were only 5 minutes from Main Street and across the street from a shuttle stop, and steps from all the restaurants and shopping we needed. If you have more than 3 cars, you will need to park the 4th+ car in one of the public lots. Speaking of cars, even the 1-car garage was heated so we put our skis and boots on the garage pegs and they stayed warm all night. I can’t say enough good things about this house, and the owners were helpful and quick to answer our many questions. The lighting system is a bit confusing but we mostly figured out the buttons! So far, my favorite stay in Breck!
