The kids enjoyed every minute we played thhe mini golf and the kids swam in the pools with slides and had ice cream cones at the pool the staff is so friendly and the cute animals too! “This is a very special place. The hosts are a lovely warm hospitable couple who have planned everything with great thought and and fine eye for quality and detail. The whole property is spacious and serene. The rooms and bathrooms spacious and beautifully styled. The breakfasts are amazing - a huge choice of specialist teas, homemade granola, preserves and pastries, cheeses, the most fantastic seedy bread! And a great range of very tasty well cooked hot options. All served in a light and airy……

“We’ve stayed 3 or 4 times at Excelsior, and, as last visit, had a wonderful time. The setting is amazing, Kirstin who runs it is lovely, very efficient and an amazing cook! James who is maitre d’, is also very personable and helpful. Both of them make sure your stay is top class. There’s a golf buggy you can use to look round the vineyard. The wine is very good indeed, and guests get to drink it free, whether lounging round the beautiful pool or enjoying one of Kirstin’s wonderful……
