“I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. Apparently, his shift starts at 4 pm. I asked to be upgraded from a very old building to a new one. I had to pay extra for the upgrade. I got a room in the new building which was great. “House and in particular the gardens were beautiful. Everything you need for a comfortable and relaxed and welcoming stay is there. We were lucky with the weather and spent most of the time outside in the fabulous pool, on loungers inthe garden listening to the birdsong or eating in the outside dining area. Giorgio and Laura were wonderful hosts, attentive, detailed and communicative. Communication with overall property manager was less strong but nonetheless adequate. It was a wonderful stay for……
