Comfortable home with a great location

This was our second stay at the house. It is comfortable and well-decorated with storage space for bikes, and plenty of outside space as well. It's in a great location, with easy access to Brevard, Pisgah Forest, and DuPont State Forest.

Convenient with the basics

We were welcomed with a nice little personalized bag of coffee in the kitchen. Convenient location in town, though there was noisy construction each morning on the road or at a nearby home being built. Not the host’s fault, though. Nicely updated bungalow. Could use an iron and ironing board and full-length mirror for people who are in town for a special occasion. The bed was uncomfortable for our taste, too soft, but some people like that. Extremely small bathroom, so tricky for a woman doing hair and makeup. But, nicely remodeled. Maybe provide a makeup mirror in the second bedroom at the desk? Most people coming to Brevard probably aren’t concerned about these features. Overall, very well-kept property with easy reservation and check in/out experience. Large yard, probably great for families with children. Loved the porch swing!

White squirrels

House is small but cozy, in a good neighborhood. kitchen is beautiful but could use some more pots and pans, and a crock pot, unless you like eating out and Brevard has a variety. Yard is loaded full of white squirrels, blue jays and cardinals. Check in was easy, management accessible, check out was also easy. I would stay here again

White Squirrels

Nicely renovated property with many modern touches. Lacked for nothing. Liked how the owners focused on local area with their framed posters. Yes, there are white squirrels in the trees behind the house - a uniquely Brevard treat.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

The little house was perfect for us! It was nicely remodeled, with tasteful furniture, new appliances, modern fixtures, lighting, etc. A few touches, however, would make it even better, such as ceiling fans, more mirrors, and blinds or curtains for the back room sliding door. Also, the bed in the back bedroom was very creaky. Other than that, the house was perfect for our stay. Great location too, in a quiet neighborhood.

All good except for ac

When I arrived, the AC was broken. It meant I had to spend the first night without functioning AC, which was not comfortable. It was fixed the next day, and the rest of the stay was very good.

Great location, less than 2 miles from downtown and a short drive to DuPont. Nice blend of updated decor with the character of a 1930s house. Host Mgt company is super responsive. We had a great stay and would recommend this house!

Excellent experience!

Very very happy with our stay! We stayed a few days to go hiking in the area and the residence did not disappoint. Very clean, very trendy. Perfect for two people. Should we return to the area we’ll definitely request this same rental.
