“There were 8 of us at this home. I loved that you saw trees from every window of the home, even the skylight. The decks were a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views. We used the grill and the hot tub. Very easy. Beds were comfortable. It was a short drive to the downtown. Would stay there again.”

“We were truly blown away by this little oasis in Nevada City. My husband and I stayed here with our baby and our dog while celebrating our anniversary and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the space. It was our first time visiting Nevada City and this was the perfect place to stay. It was literally a three minute walk into town, the whole place had doors opening out the deck and its gorgeous view, and the creek was absolute paradise. We loved being able to sit down there and soak in all……

“The duck pond cabin is homely. It's mostly quiet and the views are vast. The pond is a pond and it's fun to kayak around. The only major issue we had was the smell from the septic tank emanating from the bathroom located next to the bed. During the day the windows can be opened airing it out but at night it smells like a sewer. Lastly, never leave valuables even if just for a little. ”

“The location near the Cascade Canal Trail and the proximity to town are two great reasons to stay, but the house is just so comfortable! Beautiful views from every window. Large, nicely designed and well appointed kitchen and each living area a place to mingle and share time with family and friends. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners thought of everything. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!!”

“This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. Know exactly where you are going before you go. Also, make sure you see all fees before you book. I would stay there again if I had a larger group. ”

“This is a very cute little place in the woods with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. We were bummed that the hot tub was very dirty and unusable. We cooked in the kitchen and immediately noticed a strong gas smell. We turned off the oven and opened the windows but not before we got headaches and lightheaded. We did not see any co2 detectors but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there. The kitchen also had a substantial ant problem. My husband had an allergic reaction to something in the……
