“The cabin we stayed in was the smaller of the 3, it is a little small with the bed down but still very comfortable for 2. There is definitely care that they put into these cabins, by how well they have been built. The bathroom is ample for 2 people and the Kitchenet has everything you need. The barbecue works well and the hosts make sure you have everything you need. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again it was that good and well worth the price for a weeks stay. ”

“This was unexpectedly a great place to spend a few days. We booked at the very last minute as a previous host was a scammer and stood us up the night before we were due. It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. We were surprised it was available the day before we showed up. It shouldn;t have been! It's a great place to spend a few days .....”

“This property is unbelievable for it's location, charm, comfort, and owner. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is, hands down, the best one I have stayed at. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. The owner has amazing communication and provided an exemplary and low-stress experience. ”

“Had high expectations going in and all of them were exceeded. The house itself accommodated 4 families very comfortably and every little detail was meticulously thought through - host Madison & Jody have clearly put their heart & soul into this place which honours the local Acadian traditions. The property overlooks the ocean which allowed us to take our time and walk on it at low tide. It is located in a quiet community but close to spectacular scenery and beaches such as Smugglers Cove and……

“Amazing experience! Treehouse is well equipped and comfortable, providing everything needed for a little nature getaway. We were delighted by the rustic artful features and thoughtful care put into property. Lakefront floating dock, screened sitting area and kayaks were better than expected. “This cottage is the most incredible place. The house is amazing, in every detail. We were so impressed with how clean, organized, well-decorated and extremely comfortable it is. The views are breath taking from everywhere you look. The host, Beverly, was a delight to deal with. So responsive and helpful, providing us with several tips about the area, local cuisine and places to visit. “Our week here was just what we needed. The host literally thought of everything and we felt welcomed and appreciated. The tiny home is perfect for two people and the views are spectacular. Sunroom was my favorite! Great base for day trips to Lunenburg, Port Royale and Yarmouth. The sunsets were breathtaking. ”

“This is an amazing property! It’s very clean and everything we needed was there. The lake was so peaceful, and beautiful. The cottage is located in the woods which made it so private. The family loved swimming, kayaking, and fishing all week. We really didn’t need to do anything more than stay at the cottage. On entering the house with on the first day, my son in law said, « I would live here. » We all agreed. It did feel like home away from home, only in an wonderful setting near the sea.”

“We were so happy at the camper, it had every convenience and was well stocked. It was a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day (in the recliner chairs (inside and outside) or the hot tub!).
