Brighton/solitude ski jan23-27 2025

My wife and I, plus our 3 married kids and spouses, and infant granddaughter enjoyed rivamonte for a “long weekend” ski trip. The property was outstanding in every way. Two couples loved the downstairs bedrooms and their privacy and large shared bath. Upstairs great room and very spacious. Fully stocked kitchen exceeded our expectations and was center of great cooking and family time. It’s rare that a rental exceeds your expectations on about every detail, but this one did. Property team was extraordinary. Checked with me daily on how they could help or respond. I even had a flat tire on our rental SUV and they were ready to help us out with that which is truly special service Just amazing experience and recommend this property for any families of eight. Location of property to Brighton slopes as well as solitude cannot be more perfect walkable to Brighton and just a short five minute ride solitude. The property was on the main road and I thought we would have challenges with traffic, but that never manifested was pretty smooth the whole weekend. Short Stay

Beautiful location and home - had some issues right off the bat with the house having a propane leak and us needing to be moved. The hosting company and Carol were great and got everything fixed, then the hot water went out in the house. Bumpy stay and we were supposed to receive a refund towards our stay but never did. Hot water came on later in the evening. The summer months are awesome there - the porch needs updated outdoor furniture too. Chairs are flimsy and some of them broke. We dusted everything off and got it all ready to use - it would have been nice to have that ready when we arrived. Overall everything worked out and they allowed us to stay for a late check out which we were grateful for.

Beautiful Brighton home

This home has it all. Conveniently located between Brighton and Solitude resorts, beautiful views out the back, plenty of room and amenities inside, and the property manager couldn't have been more helpful as we had trouble finding the property in the dark and understanding which keypad we should have used to enter the property. We would definitely stay here again!

Completely Peaceful

Rivamonte is heaven on earth. It is so peaceful and the view out the back of the house is amazing. The sound of the running river is so soothing and refreshing. The house is well decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. There are more than enough towels in the bathroom and there were large bottles of shampoo and conditioner and body wash. We did not want for anything and we will definitely be back!

Great place so close to Brighton/Solitude!

We had a great experience at this property. We were sent a great info booklet in advance that greatly helped with planning our trip and also was super helpful for the check in process. They were very available for any questions we had. The place is excellent with 4 full bedrooms and two separate living areas; great for kids or multiple families. While a bit of a tougher walk in ski boots, Brighton is walkable or a short drive to the parking lot, with Solitude just a bit farther (driving is necessary). Both mountains were awesome and it was great!

Ski getaway in Cottonwoods

We enjoyed the less than 5 min drive to the Millie lift where we parked and setup our daily tailgate. Very spacious floor plan - would definitely recommend!

Great property and great location

My friends and I rented Rivamonte for a guys trip to Brighton and Solitude. The property was awesome. The location is just down the hill from the Brighton Lupine Loop. Probably not walkable in ski boots, but still very close. We ended up driving to Alta Snowbird one day which is about 35 minutes away. Parking at Brighton was easy. The house was clean and very comfortable. I could live at this house year round, no problem. The kitchen was clean and well equipped and the two gas fireplaces made for a very welcoming and relaxing environment after a day of skiing. The beds were all very comfortable with great views. Despite all intentions, we never made it to the upstairs loft for a foosball tournament. The management provided great communication before and after our arrival and were quick to respond to questions. Overall we Enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property. Thanks for hosting.

Great Ski Cabin!

Great fully equipped cabin, but would have enjoyed a hot tub! Literally the only down side was not having a hot tub to help after long days skiing. Great location it is to ski to Solitude and head from there to Brighton. Spent two weeks there and never felt the need to leave for meals. Well stocked for cooking or grilling all your meals! Super clean and cozy for families.

Amazing Big Cottonwood Canyon Cabin by the Creek

This property was one of the most amazing rental properties our family has rented. The cabin is adjacent to the creek and the sound of the water flowing down the rocks can be heard from the bedrooms while you sleep. During our stay a moose and her two babies spent an afternoon grazing by the cabin. The place was immaculate and well stocked (kitchenware, puzzles/games, etc.). There were plenty of towels. It’s within walking distance of Silver Lake.

Very nice and easy to work with.
