“The house is so much nicer than the pictures. Three good bedrooms, well equiped kitchen and the beautifull garden with multiple places to sit and hang around. The pool has a great view and is perfect to cool down and relax.The surroundings are great to explore, the national park, waterfalls to swim in, little towns and the best food everywhere.The host is close by and is the best you can ask for. Friendly and with information for you, but with respect for your privacy.Really recommend this……

“Place is wonderful, clean with an amazing view on the mountains. Very good restaurant at a walkable distance. Breakfast was very good also.
There was a dog barking 2-3 times during the night ( both nights)that we could hear from our room… other than that our stay was perfect!
We recommend!”

“Das Haus ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr schön und mit viel Platz. Gerade im Sommer lässt es sich durch die Fensterläden gut kühlen. Einziges Manko ist die Küche ohne Fenster. Das ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Und in kühleren Jahreszeiten ist es wahrscheinlich etwas dunkel im Haus. Das weitläufige Außengelände, die große Terrasse und vor allem der Pool sind jedoch unschlagbar. Und da wir im Hochsommer da waren, konnten wir uns sehr viel draußen aufhalten. Die Vermieter sind super……

“If you long for a quiet little spot of nature, and your own little castle above Ponte de Lima, search no more, this is the place! We simply adored our week at Filipe windmill.
