“We very much enjoyed our short stay at Acorn Cottage. It is a welcoming and homely place, perfectly equipped and with friendly hosts. The accommodation itself was spotless and comfortable. The lounge is spacious and has a quality woodburner, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the bedroom is airy and quiet. Excellent.I have come to realise that, for me, the best holiday accommodation has good walks available from the front door; the walks at Acorn Cottage were first rate. We parked our car……

“Overall, good, as mentioned to the owner, a little more care is required with regard cleaning, on the surface all good. Only when prompted through Vrbo did i get as response from the owner, as the time frame was getting very close as to when i would be staying. but after that all ok. Overall an excellent location, and would stay there again !”

“the property is in a fantastic position and had everything that we needed. I took my 92 year old mother and it was perfect being on one level and having an easy access shower. She was able to enjoy looking out over the sea from all angles. I had the perfect spot for painting and my patner had easy access to fishing, sadly no fish!!!! but had back up sasages from our favourite local farm shop ”

“We had a great stay in Suzanne's cottage in Kingswear. We were a family of four with two young children. The house is well equipped to make your stay comfortable. All the linen and towels seemed to be brand new which was lovely.The kitchen and facilities made our stay easy and comfy.The only slight inconvenience are the steep stairs up to the property but once you've got your luggage up there, it's well worth the views over Dartmouth Harbour and the steam railway.”

“There were 17 of us staying and it was perfect for us all. Plenty of space, comfortable accommodation, fantastic facilities, beautiful views. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. There were a couple of issues with door handles. One fell off all the time and one was impossible to lock. But, apart from that, it was perfect.”
