“Great place with an incredible view. Every thing was as advertised ”

“The photos don’t do this property justice! The view from the deck is absolutely beautiful and you can see the water! The property manager had great communication with us as the power went out our first night and she was quick to message us and offer to bring candles and flashlights. The kitchen is very clean and nice and there is a heat pump that came in handy. Would highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a calm get away. “The wee beastie house is one of my favourite stays of all time. The views, the bedrooms with ensuites, the well stocked kitchen, the yoga mats and a great host make this a top place to stay. Highly recommend and would come back in a heart beat. If you have the opportunity book it! ”

“Such a nice spot and the cottage is huge. Modern and clean inside, well outfitted and near incredible beaches. ”

“Comfortable, well-furnished home set well back from the road and safe for dogs to roam (with supervision.) The house is less than 5 minutes drive from Mabou business district, with supermarket, gas station and the Red Shoe Pub. Mabou Mines and West Mabou beaches are minutes away. A prolific wild raspberry patch is adjacent to the house (we were there in late July, the perfect season.)”

“The cedar cottage was just the right size for the 2 of us. Had a full fridge which was nice. The porch was great for having coffee and reading. It was quiet with a nice view of the mountain. ”

“Beautiful place. Well kept. Modern. Amazing amenities (great tea/coffee selection, robes, large selection of spices). Unbeatable view on top of it all with a friendly host making sure you have everything you need and going above and beyond.”

“The place is really great. There's a spacious patio where we had washer toss games. The shed was full of beach stuff. It's best suited for 4,but the 6 of us were fine.Love the thoughtfulness in the provision of things you might forget,including for the pets.Got to goto Chase the Ace at the fire department where we were truly welcomed by the people from the community. Thank you. We loved our stau at the Sandcastle in the Hood. ”

“Two sets of family stayed at this property and it was more than enough room. The house was very clean and tidy and a comfortable space. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper towel and toilet paper. The host was super friendly and helpful. They were very quick to respond to inquiries and helpful recommendations. Overall, the property met our needs and we really enjoyed our stay. Over”

“Location is great. ”

“Enough basic amenities needed, I only stayed for a night. Late check in, early check out. Really incredible sunsets, holy moly, down a gravel road though. Food is a drive away if you don’t have any with you”

“We had a very relaxing stay at Doug's loft suite. It's a very peaceful property. The hot tub definitely made this a 5 star place to stay. So relaxing and peaceful watching the sunset and then the stars at night. The room is a bit small but quaint and has everything you need including a small fridge, sink, dishes etc. and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely return the next time we visit the area. Thanks Doug!”
