Everything is modern, comfortable, and available-- there is no roughing it.Almost everything is well labeled so you know where to find whatever you're looking for. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, which is good because there's not many places to eat in the immediate area. We found everything to be clean and in working order. “Very nice, well equiped and well taken care of. Accurate listing of features and ammenities. Was bigger than pictures made it appear. Really enjoyed the deck, and hot tub to soothe or legs an feet after long day of hiking. Only issue was all the bed mattresses were really firm and uncomfortable to some in our group. ”

“The Loft at Jackson Lake exceeded every expectation! Doug and Vicki are fantastic hosts and they’ve built a wonderful property at a really unique setting within the Washington DC area. You will instantly be able to relax in this quiet and well appointed unit. Wonderful outdoor space right on the lake with great views of the water and all the wildlife. I saw a ton of cool birds including an eagle and osprey. I will be coming back… can’t say enough about this place and my new friends Doug and……

“We had a very nice stay here. The porch was really nice and we enjoyed the view of the mountains. The house had everything we needed and lots of space. Unfortunately we arrived at night and it was very hard to find all the turns in the dark and we had no reception on our phones so it was tricky getting to the house. But once we found it, we had a great stay!”

“This was my family’s first trip to the mountains and we had a great time. The location was so peaceful and the host was very accommodating. We had everything we needed and my oldest son is already asking to return. The hot tub was great! Highly recommend! ”
