“We stayed here for my son’s graduation weekend from Emory & Henry. It’s a bit of a ways to campus, but that worked fine for us. The place is beautifully appointed, incredibly comfy mattresses, and an amazing location with the sound of the river flowing all around. The gravel driveway is a bit rustic by most peoples standards, I think, but I grew up on a farm and this one was much better maintained than that. They introduced themselves and then did not bother us at all; however they were very reassuring and told us to let them know if we needed them. They are a small farm and had chickens, ducks, a pig, and sheep. The animals were all very friendly and entertaining for us to watch while we sat on the porch.
