“There were issues with the mini fridge (was not level, so the bureau would not close without lifting the door). There was also a fire in the housekeeping laundry room and smoke and smell of fire permeated the hotel. I still am impressed with the staff and their willingness to assist. ”

“Walking in the lobby, we were immediately hit with that “new hotel” smell. I’m not sure if they’ve had a recent remodel but it was so clean and bright. We were given our choice of floor to stay on and were taken care of swiftly. Our room was sooo clean! No scuff marks, no weird smell, no questionable linens. The cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in a long time. The outlet in the bathroom has the BEST blue light night light! We loved that. We will definitely choose this location if we are driving……

“The most disappointing part was the check in. It took over 20 minutes for the man to check in the ppl in front of me. Then I had the same experience. He clearly didn’t know what he was doing. He asked me 3 times if my reservation was for one night. When he was done he handed me the previous guest’s ID! Both myself and the other ppl had a reservation that he couldn’t even find them. “The property is well out dated. Needs some fixing up. They still us the key system. Do didn’t stay closed unless you locked the deadbolt. This place is more for people that need a place to stay long term. ”

“The hotel sent an email the day before arrival saying my reservation was cancelled due to "unavoidable circumstances". There was no additional explanation given. No refund was mentioned either and I was told to refer back to Hotels.com for any possible refund. This was the weekend of the local University's Homecoming/Student Preview which I was attending so it was impossible to find a replacement hotel on such short notice. My friends in the area said it was a good thing to not stay here though.……
