The bed was plush and luxurious, the surround sound music over the large tub created an unparalleled relaxation experience, and the saltwater hot tub was soothing after a long day of movement. “I visited my daughter in Maine and wanted an authentic farmhouse experience. House met the experience including stairs to the (winded) third floor. Host was very responsive both before and during trip. ”

“Tyler & his wife Sara were so inviting. This is an old Inn with all the charms. Tyler’s wife made me a lovely welcome sign, a very personal touch. Felt very comfortable being here. Very close to a family owned market that sold lovely local items as well as home cooked food for takeout. Beer & wine available as well. ”

“Our girls weekend was perfect! The beds were super comfy, check-in was easy, the fireplace was ready to go and any and all communication with the hosts was pleasant and timely! Highly recommend! ”

“We had a great stay at this hotel! Perfect little place with everything you need. Coffee was available in the room and downstairs by the desk and the room we stayed in had a fridge, microwave, stovetop, and all the cookware and glassware you need. It's definitely an older property but that is what gives it it's charm. Our TV did not work in our room but was not a huge deal. Front desk staff were kind and flexible. Would absolutely stay again and use the pool next time, it closes at 9p.”

“I have stayed at this motel many times. The area is beautiful. Staff is top notch and really go out of their way to accommodate you. The common areas are so well laid out and comfortable with something for everybody in the family. They have games, puzzles, pool table, foosball, TVs, and there is even a small library where you can take a book home you didn't have time to finish. I have never seen that before. The pictures don't do it justice. There is even beautiful Lake Wentworth with picnic……

“The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away.”

“This was just what we needed! Cute cottage in a perfect location. Nice dock. Easy paddle access to both Wentworth and Crescent lakes, and walking to town on the rail trail.”
