“We stayed at this hotel for one night as a stopover before making our way to Scotland via ferry. The hotel is dated, much like most of the buildings in the area (we are from the United States and not adapted to older buildings.) Parking for hotel is in a public car park for Carrickfergus Castle across the road. No lifts available in hotel and rooms are upstairs. Overall, the room served the purpose for an overnight stay. The hot, made to order breakfast was delicious before checking out. Staff……

“I arranged to arrive between 5 & 6pm and was met by Stanley, the owner. As a fire risk assessor I can tell that a lot of money has been spent to get it to this high standard. The place was spotless, the bed was comfy and I had my first ever Ulster Fry for breakfast. ”

“Fabulous stay staff were amazing they left a birthday card & plate for my husbands birthday which was a lovely touch. They also upgraded our room which was so comfortable & clean. Will definitely stay again.”

“The accommodation is very comfortable, and place is easy to find out. The best thing is that they have a good restaurant, and it is worthy to enjoy the dinner there. ”

“Family of 4, girls enjoyed the spa whilst the boys went swimming. Could do with a few more options but I believe there's plans to extend the spa area in the near future. Would recommend for a short break. Adjoining tea room serves great food during the day but no dinner service, with very nice service - highly recommended. ”

“Fantastic stay in a beautiful part. of Northern Ireland. Communication was great and property was even better than expected. Hot tub was a welcome addition and although the property is about 45 mins from the airport, hiring a car is easy and affordable and then you have much better access here to other spots on the coast. 5 star, would stay again, and thank you to Niall and Janeen for their hospitality. ”
