“Bald eagle 20 ft overhead...beginning of great weekend ”

“This was my second time staying at this property, this time I traveled with my in laws and booked the adjoining room as well this time. Area had a lot of snow the evening of checkin, but we had 2 meals at the Story Inn and one in the kitchenette. Got a little shopping done in Nashville once the roads were cleared. And of course enjoyed the sauna! A slightly snowbound trip but beautiful and low key and enjoyable. Would book again if I’m in the area, maybe a different season since I’ve done……

“Great location for quiet and peaceful stay. As nice as it is out in the country you would think they would keep up with grass being mowed though it was 10 inches tall with chiggers all in it. The owner sent us an e mail trying to get us to stay an extra night for 200 plus 10 percent discount before taxes and fees and we only paid 100 dollars a night for our stay i didn't think that was much of a discount. Overall good little cabin in middle of nothing”

“It was very relaxing. I will say that the shower had no handles to help you get in and out. It is a very deep tub. Also you did not provide a shower mat. Tubb was slick. In fact I almost fell. The hot tub was nice Friday night but on Saturday the jets did not work. That was disappointing. Also you need to have a sign out in front because it was hard to find. You had an address on the mailbox just the numbers. But you needed to have the name of the place. Not a good place to stay if you wanted to……

“We loved this property and are already booking again for next year! It is beautiful and secluded the outside area is wonderful with plenty of seating and beautiful scenery. Perfect for eating outside and hanging out and catching up. We never left the property. It is a little challenging to find but once you get the property address our GPS had no trouble finding it. Highly recommend! ”
