Tuve mala experiencia en el primer habitación. ¿Qué me dieron? Tuve que rechazarla. Las sábanas estaban sucias y en el cuarto sobre el piso había cucarachas. Fue una mala experiencia. Yo me quedé en ese hotel. Aproximadamente 15 años atrás y tenía un grato recuerdo. Por su excelente servicio e instalaciones, pero el servicio sigue similar. Muy buen servicio del personal pero sus habitaciones al menos las 2:00 que me tocaron muy malas. Esa es mi humilde opinión

when i first initially walked in, it smelled incredible! the cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable, truthfully. my room was clean and stocked with everything one would need. i stayed there for five days, and they also made sure my room was kept up! they were doing construction in the lobby when i was there, but that didn’t take away from my experience there whatsoever. overall, such a great stay. next time i’m in town, i’ll most definitely be staying here!

Hotels.com & La Quinta Inn Brownsville SUCK!!!

My reservation was cancelled w/o notice from the manager or the hotel, but yet Hotels.com went ahead and “TOOK” my money to pay for a hotel I “NEVER” got to stay in!!! Then the desk clerk gave me directions to a raunchy ass hotel that was down the street which the owner also owns and it was “NASTY AF”!!! I was having a medical surgical procedure done the very next day in Brownsville, TX and the room smelled or chlorine, had no WiFi available (even though the password was on the clerks computer screen…it didn’t work)…the tv didn’t work, no phone inside the room to call the front desk and the air conditioning sucked!!! I was happy to leave the hotel early that morning to get to the hospital so I could come back home to Edinburg, TX after my procedure. I text with a representative from Hotels.com that Tuesday, May 20th, 2025 about what happened and they reached out to the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brownsville North to see about getting me a refund back. They got back to me the very next day and said that they could not issue me a refund back…so I had to reach out to PayPal.com to let them know that I was charged fraudulently for services not received…they are working on my case. I will never stay in Brownsville ever again & I will never use Hotels.com ever again to make any kind of reservations!!

Loved the newness and cleanliness. Excellent gym facilities and breakfast. The top-notch service was directly demonstrated after a minor shower leak was brought to their attention only for future preventative maintenance reasons.

Everything was good i always stay here even though you're remodeling the hotel it's still a great place to stay at. The only thing that bothered me and had me a little worried was that when i walked in the room after going to have breakfast with family i saw a big spider and i had to tiny puppies that i had left in the room and that was not good. Very scary situation

It was okay...

I mean...it wasn't terrible :p the TV in our first room was broken but the front desk staff had no problem moving us to another room. But even in that room, the AC would make a rattling sound when it would turn off. It was just a bit of a nuisance when trying to sleep. The breakfast was amazing, but more than half the dining area was under construction so there wasn't much seating. The hotel building itself is a bit dated, but they've done their share of renovating what they can so thumbs up for the efforts. As for the rooms, they were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms looked great! Overall, even though it was a decent hotel I would stay again :)

It was nicely presented staff was cordial however, the room was not suitable. 1.The room had a smell of sewer as you entered it. 2. The cable did not work. 3. There was stripped off pieces of laminate trim surrounding the small refrigerator at the lower section of the entertainment center. 4. There were scratches, marks on the ceiling. 5. a punched hole on the wall just above the left side of the entertainment center by the ceiling. 6. Poor lighting in the room. 7. Two of the lights were constantly flickering. 8. There were water stains in the bathroom walls. 9. The bathroom didn't have a vent fan in operation. 10. The bodywash dispenser fell off the wall while trying to dispense an application during my shower. 11. There was no hand towel rack in the bathroom.
