“This was our 2nd stay at the house in Brownsville. The house was great! The views of the river were awesome and the house was set up perfect for our group. It is an easy drive for our event in La Crosse. Checking in and out were easy. We look forward to booking again in the future.”

There were many nice design elements which made our stay very enjoyable.Everything that we needed was there, both indoor and outdoor. We walked in and immediately felt at home.We enjoyed the deck, grill, and especially the fire pit.The property is not as secluded as had wished. We highly recommend booking this property.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the caboose. The hot tub was wonderful after long days of hiking and being on the road. The host was very attentive and resposive. The only feedback for this property was the sleeping arrangement. The futon was rather uncomfortable and we both ended up sleeping in the bunkbeds the second night which killed the romantic vibbit. ”

“This place was perfect for a week away from the city. We came here to get some peace and quiet and work remote. This place definitely fulfilled that. The wifi worked great, no work interuptions and access to the backyard to get some sun and view of the river couldn't be beat. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax after work and Gabby was super responsive with whatever issues/questions we had. The beds were comfortable, lots of places to sit and/or work, big kitchen and many pots……

“Just as listed, cozy and already warmed up on my arrival. Everything laid out for a good night sleep and warm shower in the morning.”

“Needed a place allowing a dog. Nice location with several nice views. Plenty of wildlife swimming by.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cabin. If you’re looking for peace and quiet you’ll find it here. Our favorite part was sitting on deck chairs in front of the cabin and listening to the birds singing and the clip-clopping of the horse-drawn Amish buggies passing by. We also enjoyed going to some of the Amish stores and businesses, and hiking around the lake at Sidie Hollow County Park.”

“It was fine. Door code given was not correct so we had to call the property manager (big company, not just a homeowner). That got taken care of quick. House is fine, a little janky. There was only one trash can in the entire house. Definitely needed one in the bathroom. No rags for showers. A remote was broken in the main room. Saw a mouse run in the kitchen one day. We're not fancy people so that stuff didn't really bug us. I'm kind of annoyed by the not-so-veiled threat in the description that……
