“Loved the cottage and location! Property was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a very relaxing beautiful stay! Not on the water but extremely close walking distance to path to get to the water and beautiful lake! We rented a canoe close by and were able to put the canoe in the lake easily and paddle around the very quiet and peaceful lake and enjoyed the views! The property manager Tara was excellent and made sure we had everything. Also close to store/market Indian Hill……

I will say, the showers are a bit strange with the controls outside the shower itself, also no barrier to keep water in the shower. But the heat lamps in the bathroom were wonderful after returning from a COLD ride!! Would definitely stay again.”

“Awesome but... The cabin, location, hosts, booking etc., were all phenomenal, this was our second time staying at this location as we loved it so much the first time. Unfortunately an encounter with a resident at the very end of the road cast a shadow over our stay. My wife and I were out on the water, I was in a single person canoe fishing and she was in her kayak just enjoying the scenery when a male came from his home, got into his motor boat and approached her accosting/accusing her of going……

“Beautifully renovated and updated 'classic Maine camp on a lake'.Stayed as part of a group of 5 while doing a 2-day gravel-bike trip. Being able to float in the lake after a long day was awesome. Plenty of space for 5 people, 6 would be fine if someone shared the big bed. More would get crowded I think.Kitchen is a joy to use, sharp knives (rare in a STR!), and a good cast-iron skillet (in addition to some new nonstick) was great.Good outdoor hangout spaces at the front and back which was……
