“We sat and watched a major winter storm outside the window. Very exciting from within a cozy house. We enjoyed staying in a house where you could feel somebody's presence, rather than the "accessorized" vacation homes with welcoming signs from the Dollar store etc. Only thing lacking--place needs a new key box because the existing one is hard enough to use that it feels like it won't work. Gorgeous place!”

“This is a charming log cabin in an historic log cabin development minutes from town, grocery shopping and within walking distance to a lovely park (Barrett). The "great room" has a wonderful fireplace, high ceilings, and comfortable couches and chairs. The large deck facing the water is beautiful, offering a spectacular view of Lewes Cove in Linekin Bay. You can hear loons, watch cormorants fishing and drying their wings on lobster trap platforms, and see bald eagles fly by and roost in nearby……

“My wife and I stay for a long weekend, had a great time! Anything you might need is provided, watched the sun rise over the lake right from the dinning table, enjoyed the gas fireplace at night. “Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. ”
