We enjoyed our stay at Villas by Sea. The ground floor unit was at great location , ease of parking , back patio steps from boardwalk and also great ore of the water. Peaceful stay. We rented bikes and bikes around town, as well as enjoying other things Jekyll has to offer.

Great place to stay, very quiet. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Disappointment that we had to go so far to get to the actual beach. Hope they rebuild the access soon. The condition of the electric and plumbing could use an update. Everything works but is old. Would stay here again.

The Villa we rented through Expedia was peaceful and roomy enough for two people. These are individually owned villas/condos and so each one will be decorated differently and this one needed a new paint job but it had everything we needed for our two night stay. It was also within walking distance to the beach and the staff were outstanding and friendly and kind.

The unit we stayed in was very nice. My whole family rented units for a golf tournament . Every one of the units had extremely dirty floors. Our white socks were very black after walking in stocking feet for one day. I don't think housekeeping is washing floors at all. Other than that, the unit we stayed in was quite clean and well equiped. I wanted to attach a picture of the disgusting socks, but could not do so here.

The units are owned by separate owners but managed by the resort, so the particular furnishings of each unit may vary depending on owner. Ours had a pull out couch which we requested. The front desk was attentive and there was coffee in the morning. One thing that could have been better about our particular unit is that there was no counter in the bathroom whatsoever, we had to put our cooler in there to have a place to set anything. The best thing about this place was the proximity of driftwood beach- very walkable, easy to get there for sunrise and then good birding on this little salt marsh walk. Didn’t like the pub side of the restaurant that much for the price, but did use the kitchenette to make dinner the next night. Didn’t try the pool or the bike rentals, but they looked great.

First and foremost, Tae made our stay with her warm and welcoming personality. In addition, the property was conveniently located near Driftwood Beach. And they made it easy to rent bikes to see the rest of the island. Thanks for everything ,Tae!

We had a 1 bedroom ground floor ocean view villa and would rent one of these again. All of the staff from the front desk to the maintenance staff to our wait staff in the restaurant were excellent. We have told the front desk that the bed rolled into the middle and was very uncomfortable. It was very cold while we were there, below freezing at night. There was only a light summer spread on the bed and no spare blankets and we had not checked that until bedtime. Housekeeping responded immediately the next morning but even running the heat pump all night, our first night was not a comfortable one.
