“We took a trip to this quaint township to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. We love historical sites and this entire tiwnship is a historical site. Also came to experience the Lyceum Theater's play of A Christmas Carol, which was phenomenal and enjoyed a meal at the local J. HOUSTON'S tavern . The cottage was a very fun experience with history dripping in every corner but boasting all the modern conveiences that one would need. Will definitely recommend visiting this little town and……

“Well worth the stay. I came from out of state for a funeral. I was worried about doing this as it was the first time I ever stayed anywhere other than a hotel. I was very pleased with the process and condition of the property. I’m definitely going to look for these places when I go somewhere, and if the other places are like this one they will more than meet expectations! “Staying at Sweet Gum was an absolute delight and the pics do not do it justice. This property is absolutely First Class in all ways. I was amazed at the extent and quality of the decorating and furnishings including a well-stocked kitchen with bone china! The furniture including the bed was very comfortable. The large leather sofa was my favorite. The location in Arrow Rock is also ideal, 1 to 3 blocks from any restaurant, coffee shop and theater. Finally, the owners were wonderful and……

“Location is great to walk everywhere. Cool place to stay. Kitchen isn't fully packed for hobby cooking. Some pot and pans with utensils. The description emphasized cooking but nothing out the ordinary. Bing oil, spices, foil etc.”

“Fabulous! What a special place! The unit is much larger than it looks from the photos. The host offers upscale finishes and furnishings. It would be easy to stay in this space for an extended time. The town of Glasgow is darling. Make sure you have time to explore the local shops and riverfront, all of which you can walk to from this spot. Super easy parking, right in front of the unit.”

“What a special place to stay while in Glasgow! Everything was perfect and a special touch to have a local pastry for breakfast for our 36th wedding anniversary. So comfortable and there isn’t one thing I would add. They have thought of everything. I highly recommend! If you plan to spend time in Glasgow there is more to do Thursday - Saturday.”
