Hotel is located just off town square. Clean, well maintained and quiet. Room was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast had much from which to choose. Coffee / Expresso was excellent. Restaurants and shops all within short walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Turnhout area.

Il est inadmissible d’arriver pour le check-in à une heure tardive (minuit passé) et s’entendre dire que suite à une mise à jour du logiciel en cours il est impossible d’avoir une chambre pour le moment et qu’il faut juste patienter sans être capable d’indiquer dans quel délai. J’ai par contre reçu les excuses du réceptionniste qui bien évidemment n’y est pour rien mais il faut revoir l’accueil des clients à ce moment là car nous ne sommes pas responsables des problèmes informatiques de votre établissement.

Sauber und eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Es dürfte beim Frühstücksangebot etwas mehr Zapfstellen für Heißgetränke geben. Sehr leckere Gericht zum Abend im Lobby-Restaurant; allerdings sind die Portion klein aber, sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet.

We stayed here as it was close to the airport and provided a shuttle service. Note that the shuttle only operates in the morning and not afternoon time. Also, there is a bar and restaurant at this location, however, the waitress advised us that the food on the menu was all frozen and was microwaved as ordered since this was an express Holiday Inn. She suggested we go to the Holiday Inn location a few mins walk (that wasn’t an express location) as they have a restaurant there so we did that. In terms of the hotel, it is clean, the room was nice, and staff was friendly.

Overall the hotel is fine, good condition, clean, modern facilities. The staff is superb, extremely helpful. The reason for not giving a rating of 5 is because of the shuttle service to the airport. I chose this property because they have a shuttle running from 4:00 am and we needed to be at the airport at around 5:30 am. Well, we couldn't use the shuttle at the end since the pick up location is about a block from the main entrance -the shuttle is a big bus that service several hotels and it couldn't turn in a small round about in front of the hotel-. It happens that the day we needed the shuttle it was raining heavily and that combined with the fact that my husband can not stand for long prevented us from using the service. A taxi to the airport, even though the hotel is not far away cost us about €30.

Perfect for a layover. We used uber to get downtown and enjoy an evening of sight seeing and the location worked for that. About a 25 Euro trip to downtown. Hotel was clean and modern. Breakfast proviede a little less than in other Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at but that may be a country thing.

One very important thing that I noticed, because let's face it, it was obvious, was the cleanliness of the plates, glasses and cutlery, which is essential for me honestly... the trays were so dirty that I didn’t even want to pick them. The room was also terrible in terms of dirt, we found a piece of biscuit under the bed from people who were there before because we didn't eat anything like that in the room, there weren't even any courtesy items like a shower cap. On the little table in the hall, it was dirty and stayed dirty for several days... even on the day I left I went to check and the dirt was still on the little table, it's crazy that no one responsible checks the work of their own cleaning staff. But the service from the staff was GREAT! The only positive thing! I would go back to this hotel just for this reason. In short, in terms of cleanliness, there is a lot to improve.

It was exactly what we needed. We were there in order to be close to the airport for our following morning departure. The hotel is a bit of a walk (uphill) from the train station, but we made it and the airport shuttle was a welcome addition. The breakfast was impressive and our room looked newly renovated. Overall we were impressed
