About Bluebird Cottage:
Bluebird Cottage welcomes you with warmth and comfort from the moment you pull into the tree-lined driveway. Built in 1944, this home is brimming with character and charm, yet thoughtfully updated over the years. We even have some of the original glass door handles that are nearly 80 years old—please be gentle with them!
Step inside through the signature arched doorway and be greeted by the rich original hardwood floors, classic wooden walls, and cozy furnishings. The spacious living room invites you to unwind, featuring a 55" TV on a full-motion mount for the perfect view from any seat. With a mix of comfortable seating options—couch, swivel chairs, accent chairs, and even a bench—there’s room for up to 9 guests to relax and enjoy. For your privacy, we’ve added blackout curtains, along with 2" blinds for added versatility.
Dining and Kitchen:
Just behind the living room is the dining area, which comfortably seats 6 at the table, plus two additional spots at the kitchen's bar. The kitchen is a dream for those who enjoy cooking, with a full suite of appliances including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and gas stove top with griddle. You’ll find everything you need, from cookware to utensils, glassware, and even a coffee bar with a Keurig and a French press. We’ve got you covered with spices, baking tools, a blender, toaster, slow cooker, and more.
Laundry:
A tucked-away nook off the dining room has been converted from the former porch space. This is where you’ll find the laundry area, complete with a washer, dryer, and a selection of cleaning supplies. We’ve also provided an iron, ironing board, and steamer for your convenience.
Back Patio & Yard:
Step outside to the serene back patio, where tree coverage creates a peaceful retreat. Relax in the 6-person hot tub with jets, colorful lighting, and a soothing waterfall. The patio also features a dining table for 6, a custom grill (wood or charcoal), and a fully fenced yard perfect for outdoor games. Have fun with our corn hole set, ladder ball, bocce ball, and more—stored conveniently in the pantry.
Bedrooms and Comforts:
King Bedroom: This serene retreat features a plush king-sized bed, soft bedding, USB charging stations, and a Smart HDTV. A writing desk and chair offer a space to get work done, while two closets and luggage racks provide plenty of storage. The en-suite half bath is simple yet stylish with a pedestal sink and toilet.
Hall Bathroom: This spacious bath includes a tub-shower combo with high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We provide black makeup towels and makeup remover for your convenience, as well as multiple hair dryers and plenty of fluffy white towels.
Double Queen Bedroom: Featuring two comfortable memory foam queen-sized beds with soft duvets and an array of pillows, this room ensures a restful sleep. It also offers a large chair, a nightstand with charging stations, a Smart HDTV, and a closet with hangers.
Important Info:
Before your arrival, you’ll need to complete guest verification via Superhog, a third-party provider. This is required to ensure we meet short-term rental regulations and provide enhanced protection for both guests and hosts. You’ll receive an email or text from Superhog—please complete the verification prior to your arrival to ensure a smooth check-in process.
CANCELLATION: All polices will be followed as stated on each platform as noted during the booking process. In the event of a cancellation by the Guest, and depending on the channel used, any and all fees incurred by the host (including but not limited to the credit card processing fees) are NON-REFUNDABLE and a processing fee of $100 for the cancellation will be retained by the host. The remainder will be refunded to the guest within 10 business days.
- Please take your shoes off before entering as we have original 1944 wood floors.
- Events are on a case by case basis. They MAY be approved and if approved an additional fee of $300 will be charged along with an additional security deposit.
- No glitter or anything sticky is permitted in our house or on our walls. If we have to repair our sheetrock and repair a minimum $500 fine will be charged.
- The door handles in the home are original and very delicate. Please be very careful with them.
- Trash goes out on Thursday. Please place the can put on the street or we will coordinate with you.
- Be extra careful of the trees in the driveway. We have reflectors on each one. We are not responsible for any damage.

Hot Tub Rules:
1. Maximum occupancy in the hot tub is 8 adults.
2. Use the hot tub at your own risk. Please be cautious and mindful of slippery surfaces.
3. Children must be supervised by an adult while in or near the hot tub. NO children under 12 are allowed in the hot
tub.
4. Please shower before entering the hot tub to maintain water quality.
5. For safety reasons, please do not bring glassware or other breakable items into the hot tub area.
6. To keep the hot tub clean, please refrain from eating or drinking while in the water.
7. To adjust the temperature, please press the arrow keys up or down on the panel. We recommend keeping the water temperature between 95-100 Degrees.
8. To allow all guests to enjoy the hot tub, please limit your usage to 40 Minutes.
9. For your safety, diving or jumping into the hot tub is strictly prohibited.
10. Please refrain from using the hot tub during quiet hours, which are from 10 PM to 7 AM.
11. Guests must replace the hot tub cover securely after use to maintain water temperature and cleanliness.
12. Guests need to report any maintenance issues or concerns with the hot tub promptly.
uests are solely responsible for removing all personal belongings from the property upon checkout. ManageWay and the property owner assume no responsibility for items left behind.
Should any personal property be found after departure, the guest may request its return; however, ManageWay makes no guarantee of retrieval or storage. If return shipping is requested, the guest will be responsible for all shipping costs plus a minimum handling fee of $50 to cover staff time and coordination.
Alternatively, guests may arrange to retrieve their items in person at a mutually agreed-upon time, subject to availability and scheduling limitations.
Unclaimed items will be discarded or donated after 7 days.
