Summary:
Welcome to this hidden gem right in the heart of Buckeye Lake! This cozy home provides a tranquil retreat while offering convenient access to all the attractions and activities the area has to offer with plenty of free parking, so bring your boat and trailer! We also JUST added a hot tub!

You'll be near (Within Walking distance!) to the Buckeye Lake Brewery, Chef Shack, Buckeye Lake Margarita's , Boatyard, Pizza Cottage, Dips Ice cream and 3XP Tours!

This cozy cottage sleeps 4 comfortably. There are 2 Queen size beds available.

Pros: The cottage is updated, cute, nicely decorated, clean and relatively short walk to some eateries, bars and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. Contactless check-in is very simple. Hot tub and shower are nice. Kitchen/ bathroom are amply equipped. Linens are good quality and plentiful, especially appreciate extra towels for the hot tub. Complimentary basket of snacks and Kcups are great.Cons: The neighborhood, many homes/ mobile homes surrounding this cottage are rundown and unsightly - though we had no issues, just felt a bit uneasy. Sofa is not comfortable to sit for any length of time, beds felt ok initially but my husband and I each woke with a sore, stiff back and neck. Both beds are also very squeaky with even the slightest movement. The only access to the hot tub is through very painful gravel.(bring flip-flops!)Wish it had: Bedside lamps for reading etc. rather than the bright ceiling light that is only controlled by the wall switch at the door. I prefer to have TVs in the bedrooms. Also, a full length mirror somewhere for getting ready.*Don't miss these gems while visiting: Buckeye Lake Winery, Horvath's Harbor/ Buckeye Lake Coffee co., and Coffee Shack (I'd definitely return to all of these places)

Great stay for a short birthday get away!
Property was very clean and cozy. The best were very comfortable and we all felt very rested after our weekend. The hot tub didnt get very warm. It was very cold outside, so its understandable it may struggle. Over all enjoyed the property.

Weekend Getaway
Nice little house for a weekend getaway. Looks just like the pics and very clean. Easy access code was sent to us so contactless check in is always a plus. Very walkable to area bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again, really enjoyed walking over to the lake and hanging out at the boatyard bar and grill and listening to the entertainment and looking out at the beautiful views.

Peaceful Cottage
We had a wonderful stay at Buckeye Lake while in the area for work. We are so glad we extended our weekend! This home is close to the Buckeye Lake Dam Trail, the public kayak launch, and The Blue Heron Kitchen and Pub, which was absolutely delightful!

Excellent cottage!
My wife and I stayed at the cottage for one night on our drive west. The cottage was actually more than we needed but we enjoyed the extra amenities nonetheless. It would be an excellent choice for an extended stay. Location was very convenient. The waterfront, pubs and restaurants are a short walk away. Communication, heck in & checkout were flawless!.

Such a cute house!
We had a great time! We stayed for 3 night and we're given the option to check in early. The first time we were leaving the house we had issues with the lock on the door beeping but we're able to quickly get a hold of the property manager and she came out and fixed. The house is super clean. The beds and pillows are super comfortable and the shower was amazing. Location was close to everything. The neighborhood didn't look the safest at first but we had no issues at all!! It was actually very quiet! We will definitely be back!!!

Anniversary Get Away
This was a quick one night get away. Getting into the property was an issue. Upon arrival, the code given for the lock didn't work. I attempted to call the property management company, however it was after 5pm and they were closed. I contacted vbro customer service, after about an 1 waiting outside, they were finally able to get the host to unlock the door remotely. Vrbo was unwilling to give me anythings compensation for my troubles, which is disappointing as I paid a lot for one night stay. (), I think a partial refund would have been nice. it was not a smooth start to the trip. While the property was nice, unfortunately, this will be how the trip was remembered.
