“Very spacious and comfortable home…the best part was the pool and the view! Very safe complex, super attentive and responsive staff (Maria was great!). Everything in the home worked properly and the entire process from booking to checking out was very smooth. Definitely recommend!.”

“We loved our stay at casa Anzuelo. Jim makes you feel very welcome. The house is simple but completely sufficient. Jim answers willingly all your questions and provides any help needed. We would definitly vome back.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The unit is modern and clean. There were a few minor issues. We would have appreciated having a role of paper towel to be provided. We forgot to get one and it is quite a drive to the nearest grocery store. There was a vent in the ceiling, above the front door, that was dripping water on the floor.”

“Rachel (the property owner) is the BEST! The car I rented couldn’t get up the steep driveway and she was there immediately to offer help. The views from the house are spectacular. We spent most of our time outside because there is a nice breeze off the ocean. I can hear howler monkeys. ”

“The furnishings are worn. The second bedroom is only suitable for small children. The house is only a few metres from a busy main road with noisy traffic. The beach is unattractive. The water is too shallow for swimming. And the house is NOT in the “historic centre” of Portobelo, which is several kilometres away and consists of the ruins of a fort and a church. We were so disappointed we left after one night.”
