She made us breakfast and wonderful Balinese dishes, and we talked about the Balinese way of living. “We had 3 weeks in Bali and our 5 night stay at Lata Lama was our top stay. All the staff were all so lovely, kind and very eager to help us in any way. The staff took great pride in their roles and the cleanliness of the entire place was 5 stars. Yummy breakfast. Did our washing, organized a scooter and massage for us. We will definitely return. Can't rate this place high enough, but it comes down to the people that work there. Also great location, very central for what we wanted to adventure……

“Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant.
