“A beautiful cabin set on a farm with beautiful sunsets. Everything that you would need for two people. Nice touches with organic and natural products in the bathroom and kitchen and beautiful outdoor tub under the stars. Great stay for a weekend away and great communication with the owners. “We had a delightful stay at the Shearer's Huts and had a great time testing our telescopes and astrophotography while we were there. Beds are comfy, kitchen is cute, fridge was generously full. We appreciated the fire pit on cold nights too. Lucy is a wonderful host. ”

“I have been working arround the area for over 14 years, .... this is by far, the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Great ballance between original and modern interior. In general, the place was beautiful, but the kitchen was very dirty; the cookware was oily and dirty. Additionally, there was only one roll of kitchen towel for 10 people over 2 nights. Most importantly, there were bunk beds, which were not shown in the property photos.”
