“Friendly lovely athmosphere shabby chic with emphasis on shabby ... room was very musty smelling and shower drain blocked ... slight sense of impoverished neglect. Very bizarre dinner for Burgundy. Asian veg wraps with soy dipping sauce followed by poussin with rice and ... soy dipping sauce. Then really murky pud: some kind of stodgy cake. Not good. Nobody ate it. Nice ice cream. Delicious bottle of Bordeaux at good price. ”

“What a stunning hotel. It's like being in a film set. An authentic Chateau with bundles of charm. The people on site are exceptional nothing is a problem. You're welcomed by the most friendly of receptionists. Dining exquisite. If you have a dog they treat them like family. Highly recommended. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay. We'll be back. ”

The food was surprisingly good for a hotel of this category, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The location is also a big plus, very close to TGV train station—convenient to everything we needed and easy to get around. Given the amenities and service, the price was very reasonable.
